Former Sen. Jinggoy Estrada   was officially released past 1 p.m. Saturday after posting a P1.33-million bail for plunder and graft charges. after undergoing processing at the Sandiganbayan. He had left the Philippine National Police Custodial Center at 12:28 p.m., some three hours since his legal team posted bail. The Sandiganbayan on Friday had allowed Estrada to post bail after being detained for more than three years on graft and plunder charges.  The former senator is accused of pocketing P183 million in kickbacks out of his pork barrel disbursements that went to fake projects, purportedly with help from alleged scam mastermind Janet Lim Napoles.
