Gilas Pilipinas won Gold Medal in SEA Games 2017

Gilas Pilipinas remains as the undisputed king of ASEAN basketball. The Philippines took care of Indonesia Saturday at the MABA Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, 94-55, winning gold in the 2017 Southeast Asian Games. It's the country's 12th straight SEA Games gold medal in men's basketball and 18th overall. Gilas continued to pound on Indonesia in the second half and come the fourth quarter, the gold medal was sealed after two highlight dunks by teenage sensation Kobe Paras. Tolomia finished with a game-high 20 points off the bench, 15 coming from beyond the arc, while Paras added 14 points on a perfect 6-of-6 shooting. Both the Philippines and Indonesia entered the Final undefeated and the Indonesians actually gave Gilas fits in the first 10 minutes.
